FUE Hair Transplant in Ankara, Turkey

What is the FUE Technique in Hair Transplantation?

It is the process of transferring the patient’s hair follicles one by one from dense areas to sparse areas.  Tissues are removed with a sensitive tool and placed in the recipient areas.  Line-shaped wounds and stitch marks do not occur, so the donor area becomes indistinguishable within a few days.

This technique, which is performed without the use of surgical blades, is based on the method of removing hair follicles with a special needle.  Removing the hair follicles one by one rather than in blocks has reduced the tissue damage incomparably with the old methods.  Therefore, it is the primary method recommended for hair transplantation.  This method is also frequently preferred by patients.  Patients are very satisfied with their new hair after this method.

Structures called grafts, which contain two or three hair follicles and a small amount of skin tissue, are removed from the scalp with a sensitive tool and placed in the sparse recipient areas.  This technique, which is performed without the use of surgical blades, is based on the method of removing hair follicles with a special needle.  Removing hair follicles one by one, rather than in blocks, has reduced tissue damage incomparably with old methods.  Therefore, it is the primary method recommended in Hair Transplantation.

How long does this process take?

It varies from person to person depending on the condition of the hair shedding.  A session may last several hours and is repeated for two consecutive days.

What kind of technique is used?

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) technique is a device-based process. Therefore, the type of device used for this procedure significantly affects the hair transplant outcome.  In fact, the development of extraction devices has enabled the development of hair transplantation technique.

What are the regions where the FUE technique can be applied?

It can also be applied to the scalp, face area and body.  If there is no balding on the entire scalp, but only lightening in some areas, the person himself is used as the donor.  Because it needs to be compatible with the non-shedding parts of the hair.

However, if there is complete hair loss in the facial area such as beard, mustache and eyebrows, or in other parts of the body such as the chest, transplantation can be performed from other donors.
